Biography
Dr. Moy earned her doctoral degree from Hofstra University and has gained extensive psychotherapy and assessment experience across a variety of clinical settings. She completed her internship at the Churchill School and Center where she provided interventions for children with learning, mental health, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Moy also interned at the Child Mind Institute - Healthy Brain Network where she provided comprehensive mental health and learning evaluations to young people and their families to assist with educational and treatment planning.
Dr. Moy specializes in supporting individuals with ADHD and executive functioning challenges, particularly, children and teenagers, while also helping individuals of all ages navigate challenges brought on by anxiety, depression, and trauma. Dr. Moy utilizes an eclectic approach, tailoring treatment to match each individual’s needs. She draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients master coping skills and empower them to tackle life’s challenges. In addition, Dr. Moy has worked with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and clients who identify as LGBTQ+. She is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for all clients.
Dr. Moy’s favorite hobbies are spending time with her dog, playing video
games, engaging in creative arts (painting & writing), and baking.
