Biography

Aemma Bethon received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College. She received Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from SUNY Old Westbury. During her academic career, she has had various internships that consist of Horse-A-Bility, Nassau County Auxiliary Police and counseling individuals at Brooklyn College Personal Counseling Center. Aemma was adopted from South Korea and has a very diverse personal and professional background. Aemma is empathetic and compassionate, and loves giving people the space to truly be themselves and a space to be comfortable in. In sessions, Aemma is understanding and collaborative, and understands that no two clients are ever the same and that every individual deserves a well-suited approach to what they are experiencing.
