Biography
Caroline Wagner is a graduate intern on the path to completing her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Adelphi University. She has received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from SUNY Albany.
In her approach to treatment, Caroline incorporates Psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive Behavioral therapy to help clients have a deeper understanding of one’s thoughts and interpersonal personal relationships while encouraging personal growth and development.
Caroline brings a unique set of experiences to counseling. She has had the opportunity to work with the geriatric population at Long Beach Nursing, where she actively engaged in assisting with activities of daily living and providing post-surgical care. This hands-on experience has equipped her with valuable insights into the specific challenges and needs of this demographic.
Caroline is dedicated to creating a therapeutic space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, fostering a sense of understanding and empowerment. With a focus on Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral therapies, she aims to guide clients towards achieving a deeper self-awareness and healthier interpersonal relationships. Caroline's genuine passion for helping others makes her a compassionate and effective graduate counselor in the field of mental health counseling.
