Biography

Chauncée is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, where she also received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has over five years of experience as a healthcare professional maintaining the safety of patients experiencing psychiatric emergencies by providing one-on-one companionship and observation.

Chauncée desires to build a trusting therapeutic relationship while providing a safe and nonjudgemental space for her clients to explore their feelings and thoughts. She draws from a holistic approach that incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Client-Centered therapies. She is eclectic in her perspective, recognizing that each client has unique therapy needs. She is culturally sensitive, understanding that each client's unique background shapes their experiences, values, and beliefs.

Additionally, she can provide counseling from a Christian Worldview to those seeking to explore the relationship between their faith and mental health.

In her personal time, Chauncée enjoys being outdoors, doing DIY projects, and being with her family and dogs.
