Biography
Jaimie is currently pursuing a Master’s degree to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. While working towards her degree, Jaimie has been the lead facilitator of support groups in Manhattan, New York, for expectant mothers and new parents. She does this by providing information, resources, and unconditional support in a nonjudgmental way. Jaimie has extensive experience in helping new mothers in their journey as well as general parenting.
Jaimie’s approach to therapy is collaborative and interactive. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches and uses a systemic perspective to treat adolescents and adults. She strongly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and empowering individuals to ignite positive change. Her warm and empathetic approach allows clients to set clear goals and efficiently work towards increased happiness in their relationships and lives. Jaimie strives to create a compassionate and affirming environment for her clients by drawing on their strengths and realizing their potential to live fulfilling and happy lives
