Biography
Jason is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker. He received his Bachelors in Psychology from SUNY Old Westbury and his Masters in Social Work at Stony Brook University. While attending and studying at Stony Brook University, he interned at Family Service League & Kids Need More where he learned valuable crisis intervention skills, how to develop and apply healthy coping strategies for children of various ages, while also creating a positive, non-judgmental and safe working environment for clients to engage and flourish in.
Jason has experience working with those who grapple with different mental illness diagnosis and those on the autism spectrum from his time with Project REAL and Career Employment Options Inc. Whether it is in a school, private practice or group home setting, Jason utilizes a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based approaches, and Psychodynamic theory in hopes that he can assist others in leading a life with empowerment, purpose and direction.
