I believe in cultivating a nonjudgmental, safe space to meet people where they are, mentally and emotionally, and use their strengths to achieve their highest level of functioning. I utilize an integrative approach by implementing techniques from psychodynamic, interpersonal, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral modalities. I value patience, compassion, and creativity to promote meaningful change. I also tend to explore and reflect on my patient’s past experiences, relationships, and traumas to gain a deeper insight into their current functioning. I believe in helping people gain self-awareness to form meaningful change, and develop a deeper sense of self.
